How Do I Use and Enjoy My Stress & Anxiety Relief Crystal Singing Bowl ™
  • Find a comfortable, quiet place to sit with your Stress & Anxiety Relief Crystal Singing Bowl™ .  You can sit on the floor with the bowl or sit at a table with the bowl resting on the table.  Make sure the bowl is resting on the rubber O ring it came with.
  • Take a few long deep breaths, set your intention for the session – you can say this in your head or you can say it aloud, whatever feels right to you.  For example, “My intention for this session is to melt away my stress and anxiety so I can feel calm and relaxed.”  Simple and easy.  As long as you have a positive intention you can’t do it wrong.
  • Hold the mallet parallel to the outside of the bowl (so one circle at the end of the mallet points up to the sky and the other points down to the earth) and begin slowly rubbing it around the outside edge of the bowl.  You’ll hear a long tone begin to form.  It may take a few tries to get the hang of it.  Experiment with continuing to rub the sides for longer periods then disconnecting the mallet from the edge of the bowl and listening to the sound linger on.  Alternatively, you may wish to start playing the bowl by gently hitting the edge of the bowl with the mallet – dinging it like a bell.  You may then begin to rub the sides or just let the “bell ding”, until it’s time to hit it again.  Play and see what feels right for you.  Again, you can't do it wrong.
  • As you play, you may begin to "feel" the sound vibrations ripple through your body.  Listen to the sounds and notice how the vibrations feel.  You may find that closing your eyes while playing or listening will amplify the relaxation you experience.  Allow yourself to connect with the sounds and vibrations.  Taking deep breaths, envision exhaling and releasing any negativity or tension, and inhale the positive, peaceful tones produced by your bowl.  Allow yourself to notice how you feel.
  • Most people start to experience stress and anxiety relief within 5 minutes and play on for a total of at least 10-15 minutes and often up to half an hour or longer.  Play as long as the vibrations and sounds make you feel good or as long as you feel you need to.  
  • Many people find that playing the bowl helps them enter into a meditative state. They notice that mind chatter dissolves and a sense of peace and calm rolls through their bodies helping them slip into meditation with ease.

How Often Do I Play My Stress & Anxiety Relief Crystal Singing Bowl ™ 
  • As often as you like!  Some people find that incorporating a 5-15 minutes bowl session into their daily routine helps them better manage their day, keeping issues stemming from stress and anxiety at bay.  Many people use their bowl when they are feeling particularly stressed or anxious in the moment.  Sometimes you may find you just feel like playing the bowl.
